This week I’m working on using up as much as I can from my pantry and spending very little at the grocery store. I’ll have to get fresh produce for lunches and such and of course more almond milk but I have most of the rest of the items.
Speaking of almond milk… I wish they sold it in gallons because we go through a ton of it. My husband gave up Mountain Dew this past month and has been doing very well. He’s now drinking Dark Chocolate Almond Milk in the evening when he gets home. I think I buy about 2 or 3 half gallons a week of just the chocolate, on top of the 3 or 4 vanilla flavored half gallons we buy that we all have.
Monday: Grilled cheese, pita chips with humus, and sliced Ever Roast Chicken breast
Tuesday: Macaroni Bites and hot dogs
Wednesday: Muffin Madness – I’ll be making breakfast egg muffins and lemon poppy-seed muffins
Thursday: Fun Family Fondue for Valentines Day – I haven’t quite figured this one out but I thought it would be fun for us all to do together. If we don’t have fondue for the main courses we will at least have some chocolate fondue fun for dessert. I picked up some really cute pink heart-shaped marshmallows that I know my daughters are going to love to dip in chocolate.
Sunday: Date Night – Four Hour All You Can Eat Sushi Making Class. I’ve been waiting a month for this class because it has been getting pushed back for one reason or another and am really looking forward to eating some yummy sushi and just having some time out with my husband.
