There are a lot of different methods to organizing your coupons. Some people clip coupons and some people leave all of the coupon inserts whole. I like to use the binder method and clip my coupons. I thought I would show you all what my coupon binder looks like and how I put it together.
Here is my coupon binder. Yes it’s huge but it means huge savings! This particular binder has a zipper around the whole thing which I love so nothing falls out.
The front of this binder has a handy zipper pocket to store my scissors and calculator. Underneath I have a few pens and pencils.
I put my store fliers here and any coupon inserts that I have not clipped yet. I also use huge pieces of construction paper that I divided into 8 sections and labeled them with my categories. I lay them on the table and as I clip my coupons I just put them on the section of the construction paper – it makes filing them all away a lot faster.
This is my store card page and right behind it is my gift card page.
The side view.. I have 32 dividers in there. It makes it very easy for me to get to what I need fast.
I purchased baseball card holders to put all of my coupons in. You can get the card sleeves at Target or Walmart near the trading cards. I bought mine online even cheaper and WAAAAY better quality.
These are the categories I use:
- Canned Goods
- Boxed Food Rice and Pasta
- Dairy / Cheese
- Fruits & Veggies
- Meat and Fish
- Frozen Food
- Shaving and Deodorant
- Feminine Hygiene
- Oral Care
- Hair care
- Soap & Body wash
- First Aid
- Medicine/ Vitamins
- Surface Cleaners
- Dish washing
- Kitchen / Paper Products
- Air Fresheners
Do you coupon? How do you organize your coupons so you are able to find what you need? I’d love to know any tips and tricks you may have that I could apply to my own process.
