Next week is teacher appreciation week. I wanted to do something special for my daughter’s teachers and the administrators because they do soo much for all of the kids at her school. Being a teacher myself I know what kinds of gifts teacher’s actually like. I didn’t want to get them something that would be tossed out or just collect dust. Teachers really don’t need a thousand coffee mugs that say #1 teacher on them. I know I was always looking for paper or something to write on, so we put together this note card and paper set complete in a little organizer.
We got all of the teachers a Fold N Go Organizer from Thirty-One Gifts. They came with a beautiful matching notepad. We added in some Thirty-One Gifts Lil’ Expressions Cards that we had personalized to say Precious Promises Preschool. We also tucked in a sticky note pad next to the pen before we gave them to the teachers.
Here is a close up if the Lil’ Expressions notecards for Allie’s teachers. We designed all of the children and picked all of the clothes they are wearing.
We made our own thank you cards for the teacher and administrators. Allie stamped the grapes with purple paint using a lid of a glue stick. She had 2 different versions of the cards – one for the director and administrative assistant, and the other for her teachers.
We even made our own gift wrap. Allie stamped the paper with the letters that corresponded to the name of her teachers. It made it very easy to hand out the gifts. And, we just used the paper that they came wrapped in and added the stamps. Super simple! We finished it off with a cute alphabet ribbon that I picked up on sale at Michael’s.
Don’t forget to support the educators in your life. What are you getting for your child’s teacher? I’d love more ideas for next year.
